The valuation of a company is a complex and delicate job, which requires an appraiser's practical experience and theoretical knowledge. The subject of the research in this paper is a variety of methods which is used to assess the value of a company, and the application of a certain method of assessment depends on what kind of job company is doing (whether it is about a stock-listed company or not, what is the history of the company's business etc.). The method used to evaluate the value of the company F.I.L.D. project d.o.o. has been selected based on the available financial data and the current market situation. By analyzing the financial data for the observed company it can be concluded that in the last couple of years that company has comparatively similar revenues and constant growth of the same in a similar percentage and that it has been operating for more than ten years, and for this reason it was used the method of discounted cash flows (DCF) or The Capitalization of Cash Flow method s order to calculate the value of the company's capital and the expected cash flow in the future of the company. The static and dynamic methods according to their characteristics and the procedures used in the calculation are different, which gives a result of different company's valuation. Considering this fact, it is necessary to select an expert who will use the most appropriate method for assessing the value of a given company, depending on its legal form and depending on the situation in which it is located.
