As part of the master thesis, the idea of a prototype of an intelligent clothing item for the apneas detection and the awakening of the sleeping disordered person due to breathing disorders, will be presented. During sleep an intelligent clothing item is worn on the body of a person who is sensitively supervised. During the disturbance of breath the sound it creates is registered by the sound sensor. At the same time, the vibration of the chest is detected by the muscle activity sensor. Likewise. The computer will record changes to the position of the bedroom using the accelerator sensor. For this purpose, a microcomputer system with a corresponding periphery and appropriate sensor will be designed, and a software package for controlling the microcomputer will be proposed and the measured data will be displayed. The intelligent clothing for apneas detection will be realized within IP-2018-01-6363 Development and Thermal Properties of Intelligent Garment (ThermIC) funded by the Croatian Science Foundation as part of the project. Since heat comfort is very important for sleeping clothing, further research will investigate the functioning of the embedded systems and their vapour resistance and thermal resistance through the clothing.
