This paper is based on the research and analysis of bohemian style, respectively bohemian style in dress, not only of the current state but also of the past periods. The problem has been elaborated by chapters and strategic descriptions from the earliest appearance of the term bohemian, through the hippies to today’s contemporary called boho style. Elaboration of historical part describes the significance of the artist, his status and position, which has become insecure in the first place, while the romantic movement makes it more important, introducing the idea of the artist as a genius; special person. Rather is know that bohemian clothing does not actually have a real chronological line, but several stages and strategies. In the first years, there are styles influenced by medieval romantic love and orientalism. What is mostly covered is the hippie period and lifestyle, because it is the term which is more familiar to the audience. From the beginning, occurrence, social protests, the first gatherings, and the presentation to the public, through the general way of life, already mentioned hippie term was described. Then it comes independent, can be said, the contemporary bohemian style, as we actually know him today. Here, its general characteristics and factors are outlined. As an important part, the symbols and their meanings are mentioned , and through the photographs certain examples of the same are presented. Below are examples of some designers, models of ‘’fashion week’’, whose collections are inspired by boho style. Examples are also supported by photographs. In the final art collection, based on research and collected information, the original inspirational idea is covered by the individual perception of the boho style with a certain departure from the usual. The selected model was constructed and modeled according to the drawing. The collection also includes accompanying textual description.
