The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the health status of educators and their profession, and the relationship between the disease with regard to age and seniority. They want to identify specific diseases and health conditions characteristic of the educational profession and explore how they affect their quality of life. The sample of respondents from this research consists of 261 educators from 18 counties in the Republic of Croatia. In this research, a questionnaire from the research “Health status of class teachers in Slovenia” was used, which was modified and harmonized with certain instructions of the Ministry of Health for the purposes of this research. In addition to the above questionnaire, the criterion variables of this research were the chronological age of the respondents and the years of service. To describe the results, basic descriptive parameters, percentages were calculated and the Sperman correlation coefficient was used. The results of the research show that the variables leisure time, physical abilities and general health are significantly and largely related to the chronological age and years of service of educators. Also, educators have the most problems with respiratory diseases, headaches and fatigue, and low back pain. Circulatory diseases, joint disorders, dorsopathy and back pain are especially important. It can be concluded that the age and years of service bring their own. More attention needs to be paid to educators' health care and more attention needs to be paid to this profession in order for its members to be healthier, happier and more satisfied.
