In this paper entitled "Children's expression of music experience through movement and dance", special mention will be made of the importance of music and movement in preschool children. Since childhood, children have the ability to react to music with spontaneous movements, expressing what they do not know how to pronounce themselves in speech. The most common current indicator of accepting music is the child's movement. Music as well as movement influence the overall development of every child and is a useful way of learning, perfecting, developing personality and developing creativity (Miocic, 2012). For the child's overall development of communication with the movement, the child is the closest and therefore the most significant. The paper will explain the ways of dancing and movement through choreography and spontaneous children's excerpts. These games will be featured by the songs that Gospodnetić (2015) defined as children's songs that are a product of the game and which combine musical and dance expression. Such games are considered to be musical-didactic games that affect all areas of child development. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the importance of movement and music in children and to explain their numerous positive effects that affect almost all aspects of child development such as emotional, cognitive, motor, social and educational. Also movement and music are used for therapeutic purposes that have a significant place in the context of enhancing functional, emotional and subjective abilities. The educator in working with preschool children plays an important role in encouraging the child's expressiveness of the movement with music, as it is in each child individually and authentically, and is linked to creativity in all areas of the child's life.
