Nowadays, its clear to everyone that there is no better investment than investing in education. The content and teaching methods should be changed as soon as possible. Children should prepare for future jobs. Therefore, it is important to put children in different situations in order to be prepared for the life and jobs that await them. Play is a specific activity that is characteristic of many animal and human individuals. From ancient cultures to the present, attention has been drawn to the importance of play in the educational process. Although there have been conflicting opinions throughout the history of the game, today it is known that it is very useful for every child, so he tries to spend it more and more in the educational process. The game encourages student activity in the lesson and arouses interest and desire for specific material. This will motivate the students more, help them to learn more, acquire knowledge and develop skills, through which one can see how much the student has learned and learned. As it helps the student, it has great value for the teacher. Through play, the teacher will refine his lesson, encourage and motivate students. But it must be well prepared and engaged. There are many games that teachers can apply to lessons that affect learning, developing thinking, attention, and memory. The aim of this paper is to understand the importance of play in the learning, growth and development of a child.
