Music is inherent on Earth and all forms on life react and make rhytmic moves and sounds. (Campbell, 2015). Listening to music is the origin of development musical abilities, musical skills and musical taste. Quality selected music has a positive effect on heart rate, breathing, cognitive development, reduces physical tension. It activates and develops all the abilities for children: motor, cognitive, creative and affective. In an educational sense, listening to music involves experience, cognition, and analysis. Children need to be exposed to a variety wealth of musical activities in order to develop their musical experience and love of the art of music. Listening to music encourages children to other musical activities such as dancing, singing, playing. Passive listening to music emphasizes and contributes to the intensitvity of experience of certain situation by creating a pleasant and stimulating atmosphere. The aim of this paper is to present theoretical knowledge with survey responses of educators, and to show out the importance of a holistic approach to the child in development in which cognitive, social and psi-homotomor aspects permeate. Insight into the research concludes that in early and preschool development more attention should be paid to improvisation activities because they encourage children to have free access to music that leads to the development of creative thinking.
