The main purpose of this thesis was to explore the importance and frequency of engaging in kinesiological activities from an early age and to assess how prevalent such activities are in the lives of children in the early and preschool years, specifically within early childhood education institutions. The thesis will provide insight into educators' perspectives through the conducted research. The theoretical part of the paper pertains to the characteristics of children's growth and development, as well as the significance of kinesiological activities and their positive impact on children. It also addresses the negative consequences of physical inactivity, as it can lead to significant health issues in the future. Consequently, the paper discusses different types of kinesiological activities and their planning within early childhood education institutions. Given that the need for movement is one of the most fundamental human requirements, it is imperative to allow children to fulfill this need. Successful planning and execution of physical activities hinge on possessing the necessary knowledge and skills, providing a safe environment for children, and utilizing appropriate equipment, as evident from the research results. Proper development of children in their early and preschool years depends not solely on educators and early childhood education institutions but also on parents, who serve as primary role models and examples for their children.
