Inclusion is a very important and integral part of every educational institution, so that children can learn to accept differences and how to interact with them. Inclusion involves integrating children with developmental disabilities into regular educational institutions. When including a child with visual impairment, the educator must prepare the group of children, parents, and the environment, such as the classroom, to facilitate the child's mobility. The educator prepares through training, literature, and reflection with professional colleagues, and shares the acquired knowledge through workshops organized for children and parents. By actively participating in the workshop, parents and children become familiar with visual impairment and better understand how to support and help the child. This way, children and their parents will become more tolerant and understanding towards a child with visual impairment. A child with a visual impairment should be addressed just like any other child, but it's important to describe the surroundings and name the objects around them. During communication, it's necessary to introduce oneself since the child cannot differentiate solely based on sound or the voice of the person speaking to them. Although they have a visual impairment, it doesn't mean they have a hearing impairment, so there's no need to raise the volume or change the tone of voice. When moving, we should alert the child to any obstacles ahead, such as a table, wall, stairs, or uneven ground when outdoors. It's also important to walk slowly and with greater caution if the ground is not level.
