The paper deals with atmospheric conditions with an emphasis on Anticyclones. The atmosphere can be in one of three equilibrium states: stable, labile, and indifferent. Air masses and fronts define the character of weather over large areas. The term air mass means a large amount of air whose physical properties are more or less uniform in the horizontal direction, and the air masses themselves can be divided into several categorizations. Atmospheric fronts are narrow boundary areas between atmospheric air masses. In nature, the area where hot and cold air are in contact and where the temperature rises with the penetration of warm air is called the warm front. An anticyclone is a rotating barometric system of elevated air pressure. In the center of the anticyclone, a downward flow of air prevails, which leads to its heating, so the air mass in the anticyclone is relatively warm and in its area is regularly dominated by clear stable weather with possible light clouds. The development of the anticyclone as a system of weather processes is calmer than that of the cyclone. The development of the anticyclone is accompanied by a spatial increase and increase in atmospheric pressure, and a decrease in the horizontal barometric gradient in its central parts and an increase in the periphery. Anticyclones generally occur as a result of dynamic and static processes. The first are subtropical anticyclones, inter-cyclone anticyclones, and final anticyclones (between cyclonic families). The second is a stationary (static) anticyclone. Anticyclones are also divided into hot and cold anticyclones. The characteristics of the weather in anticyclones depend on both the season of year and the amount of moisture in the air. Anticyclones are more favorable weather phenomena for maritime traffic and navigation.
