The graduate thesis describes topic "Energy renovation of a family house" was discussed and the importance of energy efficiency of the building was examined. Tests were carried out for the existing family house with ground floor + first floor + second floor. The energy efficiency of the house was tested by analyzing the existing condition and analyzing three measures of energy renovation such as changing the external carpentry, installing thermal insulation for the external walls and installing thermal insulation on the pitched roof and suspended ceiling. He compared each measure separately with the existing state to see the difference in energy consumption and savings in CO2 emissions, and ultimately one additional measure was analyzed that includes three measures together. The main goal of graduate thesis is to show the importance of energy renovation of family houses, to show the procedure of energy renovation of family houses, energy inspection and analysis before implementing energy efficiency improvement measures. The conclusion of the paper is based on three measures of energy efficiency improvement to show the profitability for the environment, energy and money savings throughout the year and return on investment.
