This paper is consisted of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part will be examined through theory of contemporary approaches and different theories of leadership. The importance of culture and ethics in leadership will be explained as well as modern leadership styles that are applied by organisations. Furthermore, I will define the concept of politics, whose impact is extremely important for the organisation as well as for the individual. Political affairs will be explored and the meaning of politics itself. Power, as the link between leadership and politics will also be theoretically investigated. The power will be divided into power in the country, power of a company or an individual, and will as a separate sub-section explain the potential power that banks and the media have. Theoretically processed topic will be followed by the practical part, which consists a conducted research. The goal of the research is to explore the most powerful companies in the local environment as well as their leaders and to investigate the structure of leadership in these companies. The research will be divided in two parts. The first part of the research refers to the collection of data from secondary sources necessary for conducting research '' at the table '' in which the market power and the structure of the management of selected companies and the impact of politics on them will be explored. It will then be carried out as a ''field research'' and the researches will examine the respondents in their local area. The sample will consist a hundred people. The survey is structured to follow the previous research. Then comes the second part that refers to the analysis of data of the conducted research. In that part I will study, compare and analize the collected data. Based on the analysis, I will bring a conclusion.
