This paper presents additive manufacturing processes. This techology is relatively new and is still in process of developing, and processing of this technology in this paper is devided into six chapters. Introduction describes what it was in the paper. The second chapter describes development of additive technology, phases of additive manufacturing processes and classification of additive processes. In third chapter there are explained and described ways of rapid prototyping, presented the most popular methods of rapid prototyping, and written their advantages and disadvantages. Rapid tooling is described in fourth chapter, in this chapter are also explained various methods of manufacturing tools and defined what processes are using this tools, and for how many cycles. Rapid manufacturing is described in chapter five. In the sixth chapter is processed practical part of the paper. In practical part is processed manufacturing of the funcional prototype, using 3D printing process.
