Financial crisis are not something that came out in the past few years. They exist as long as the world exists but they did not occured so frequently as they do nowadays. In the past, financial crisis were result of wars, natural disasters and social inequalities. Nowadays, financial crisis are also caused by social inequalities but also globalisation and ineffective economy policies. Since the 2008. when the global crisis occured, Greece has been facing an economy recession. A lot of financial packages were given to Greece in order to save the economy from the collapse. Greece instead, used the money to finance its government debt and budget deficit, as well as paying off existing debts and its interests. High government debt and budget deficit, historically high level of unemployment rate, weak industrial production and low GDP are result of Greek excessive indebteness. According to IMF data, Greece will reduce its government debt by present 176% of GDP to 108% GDP until 2032. Based on this, Greece has a long and difficult path to cope with in order to restore its economy growth as it was before the crisis occured.
