This mater thesis describes the TIG welding process and its improved TIG Dynamic Wire welding process. The paper consists of a theoretical and an experimental part. The theoretical part of the work is composed of three parts. The first part is an introduction that describes classic TIG welding, known as electric arc welding with a non-fusible electrode in a protective gas atmosphere. It also mentions its significant use in welding materials of smaller thicknesses and the application of this welding procedure. The second part is based on a detailed description of the classic TIG welding process. The principle of operation, the basic equipment for TIG welding, its advantages and disadvantages, shielding gases, parameters that are important in this welding process are described, and the preparation of the joint is described at the end of the chapter. The third part describes the characteristics of the TIG Dynamic Wire welding process. Its improvement compared to the classic TIG welding process is described. It also describes the process of the TIG Dynamic Wire welding procedure, the equipment required for welding and the choice of parameters. The experimental part of the work is located in the fifth chapter, where the apparatus for TIG Dynamic Wire welding and the production of samples necessary for analysis are presented and described. The experimental part of the work determined the most influential parameters that affect the quality of the weld. Analyzing the results reveals which parameters affect certain characteristics and quality of the weld.
