Entrepreneurship is important for economic growth, job creation and quality of life, along with the needs of modern society. Innovative entrepreneurship can provide ideas that help grow new and existing businesses, develop products to improve local communities, and drive change to improve the customer experience. Innovation is a major component of a successful business, so it is useful to understand what innovation means. This paper investigates and looks at the explanation of innovation, the spin of innovation, and how and why human resources are important for companies, but also innovation. Also, the impact of innovation and human resources on entrepreneurship is explained. At the end of this paper, the results of the research are presented. The research was conducted by interviewing several business owners in the city of Nova Gradiška, who answered questions such as how many employees they have, whether they invest in innovation, how they differ from others in their field, whether it is stressful to be an entrepreneur and other questions related to innovation and human potential. With the help of research, it can be concluded that every entrepreneur has a similar way of thinking. Of course, it also depends on the type of work they do, and each interviewed entrepreneur is from a different business activity.
