Playing is an activity in which the child participates every day for pleasure, he approaches it with interest, and is especially important during the early formative part of life. Thorugh the child expresses and gains new experiences. Playing is important for both children for typical development and for the children with special needs because through the game a child can be rehabilitated. One of special needs syndromes is autism, a lifelong neurological disorder as the result of abnormal brain development. Autism does not have a unique form, each person is an indiviudal for themselves. The treatment for autism is carried out through therapy adapted to the child̕̕ s development in a team or with the cooperation of a psychiatrist, psychologist, rehabilitator and nurse with the participation of families, mostly parents. The goal of therapy is a reduction or elimination of autism symptoms, and it can be performed through educational methods. Children with autism play in an atypical way, they do not have the same way of playing as their peers, often playing only with themselves, stereotypically, looking at their hand so that they turn, move towards and away from their faces. For toys they use objects or parts of objects that are not usually used for playing. Physiotherapy interventions, interventions of occupational theraphist and therpists lead the child through various therapies and method affecting the symptoms of autism, allowing it to learn and age – appropriate learning and development and social interaction with peers.
