This paper describes resilience in the context important for the military and discerns key factors that benefit or harm it. Through the development of social studies, psychological theories and approaches have become increasingly present in the evaluation of the capabilities and health condition of people. This trend continues, and the results are a more detailed analysis and more structured approach to the detection of factors that contribute to creating a stable individual. Resilience presents itself as one of those factors and it is best described through the area where its observations were made (i.e.resilience in the family, sports, army...) because of its prominent situational orientation. Generally speaking, resilience is defined as the ability to adapt to a stressful situation, which clearly highlights the emphasis on the individual and the surrounding. The adequate measurement of resilience and the right use of the methods by which we should approach stressful situations greatly improve the degree in which the person manifests their resilience because they provide a basis that we can apply to most cases. This standardization and its mastery allows for a more structured approach to problematic situations and increases the chances of positively dealing with them. This paper will therefore show the importance of resilience and display the methods and interventions in support of it.
