The goal of this student paper is to display the burnout syndrome through the perspective of the military. Burnout syndrome is addressed through the very beginnings and history of its origins, the civil sector and the fundamental division into 3 categories: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduction of professional achievement. Other civilian areas where it is present are listed, and the military sector is shown at the end of the first part. Important elements such as causes and prevention methods are listed and explained, and finally, through theory, the topic of correlation between burnout syndrome in the military and a common mental states in the army - battle fatigue and posttraumatic stress disorder. Processed with the Maslach Burnout Inventory, two scientific papers are mentioned and analyzed, and the commentary on the research objective itself. At the end of the paper, a conclusion was presented on the topic.
