Road intersections are traffic areas where roads and streets in traffic connect or interconnect and are merged, separated, overlapped and crossed. They form the most common element of the roads and street network and their capacity is most often conditioned by the capacity of the entire city network of roads and streets and its individual shares. The intersection as the most complex part of the road network must enable meaningful and safe traffic flow. In this final work, the existing state of five intersections will be analyzed and personal opinion will be given in terms of improvement in order to secure and speed up traffic at these intersections. The traffic policy of the city of Solin was intensified by the reconstruction of existing crossings and they started works there as of last year. As the busiest intersection in the town of Solin, "Širina" is already partly reconstructed to reduce traffic burden to Split and enable faster and more efficient traffic flow. Notwithstanding other intersections in the city, currently there are constructions and work being done to improve the road infrastructure of other intersections to make the traffic infrastructure level higher and to maximize road traffic for all traffic participants. The above intersections and their disadvantages are discussed more in paper.
