Sažetak (engleski) | Energy plays a key role in the life of people all over the world. For this reason, countries all over the world, as well as the European Union, care about the safety of production, supply and distribution of various energy sources. There are renewable and non-renewable energy sources, but more emphasis is placed on the conservation and supply of non-renewable energy sources, considering that they are currently the most used. Considering that the supplies of non-renewable energy sources are running out, the countries of the world must find as many new renewable energy sources as possible, but they must also improve the existing renewable energy sources. This is why the European policy of the European Union was created, which has the task of enacting a whole series of goals, tasks, principles and measures whose purpose is primarily to research, but also to develop and distribute energy that serves the entire economy, its survival and development, and with as little as possible costs and energy prices as low as possible. Of course, as a member of the European Union, Croatia has the security of supply of non-renewable energy sources with the help of the Union, but in addition it implements its own policies and steps in order to produce as much energy as possible with as little costs as possible, while at the same time taking care to preserve the environment. Coal, natural gas and oil are listed as non-renewable energy sources, and for each of these energy sources, a special policy is implemented to preserve them. |
